Harry’s Bar and Dream Today both took honours in Dundalk last Friday night with both scoring for the team under the excellent hands of Cian MacRedmond for owners Shamrock Thoroughbreds.
Harry’s Bar, who was having his first outing of the year, prevailed by a length and three quarters from San Andreas to win the Book Online @ DundalkStadium.com Race.

Speaking afterwards, Ado said, “He’s a brilliant horse, a great horse to have. We have him down to go away to Saudi. He is first reserve and I don’t know whether he is going to get in. We did enter him up in the sprints out in Dubai on the Super Saturday out there. He has the all-weather championships as well.

Personally, I would rather go to Lingfield than Newcastle. The Lingfield track suits him around a bend, I think he is a far better horse around a bend.

The second leg of the double was landed 35 minutes later when Dream Today got up in the final 50 yards to land the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk H´cap.

Speaking afterwards, Ado said, “Cian has played a massive part in our stable the last two years since he came back from England. He would have ridden A Case Of You every single day of his life when he was in our place. It was a big factor to him as well.

Cian and Adam are two very important lads in my place and my place wouldn’t function without them. They ride all the work and they are very good lads.

Cian is a very good kid. He was away before Christmas in America and it did him the power of good. He was out riding work in America and it was a big help to him. He drives up from Kildare every morning through the traffic and the same again in the evening. It is hard work, but it is paying off for him and that is the main thing.

Dream Today is a high-class horse, he dropped a couple of pounds from the last day and a couple of the others that were in front of him in the betting had gone up. We had a good weight swing, but what we did need was a very fast pace and we got it.”
