Sirjack Thomas recorded his seventh career success at the Curragh on Friday 26th May last when staying on strongly in the final furlong under Adam Caffrey to land the concluding race of the evening, the Novibet Blog Handicap.

The admirable grey shot through the field to lead entering the final furlong and stayed on strongly to win by half a length from the Dermot Weld trained Coeur D’Or.
Speaking afterwards, Ado said, “Adam was unlucky not to ride a double and is good value for his 7lb. He probably won’t have it for much longer and gave him a great ride.

This horse loves Galway and was down to a very competitive mark today. He won a Premier Handicap here Derby weekend a few years ago and is a classy horse. Unfortunately the Dooleys aren’t here. They were to come over but there was a last minute change.”
