We value every member of our staff as they all play an integral role to our success.
Stephen rejoined the stable in 2017 as assistant trainer. He is graduate of the Godolphin Flying Start and his international knowledge and experience is a big asset to the team. Stephen also setup Shamrock Thoroughbreds to grow the ownership base of the stable and the success of the syndicate has grown rapidly in recent seasons.
Hazel joined in Jan 2020 as General Manager, responsible for overseeing general business operations & accounts. She has vast management experience throughout her career in the Medical Devices Industry.
Zoe joined the stable in 2014 and is our main work rider. She also fills the role as head lass and attends a lot of race meetings throughout the year. She completed RACE in 2013 before joining the stable and her outstanding horse riding skills and is what makes her an ideal fit for the stable.
Stephen is our apprentice jockey and joined the stable in July 2019. Stephen recorded his 4th winner aboard Raphael in Killarney in 2020 and is excellent value for 7 pounds. Stephen is a great asset to the team and his feedback is very important to us.
Aisling (Ado’s daughter) is an accomplished exercise rider. She has also represented Ireland Show Jumping ponies and horses including the WEI World Cup Final in Mechelen, Belgium 2019 having won the qualifying rounds in Denmark and Switzerland.
Tadhg ( Ado’s son ) is an accomplished exercise rider and acquired his amateur licence in 2018. He has also competed at a European level show jumping ponies winning classes in Sentower Park, Belgium 2019.
Owen joined the stable in early 2019 and is a regular work rider and stable groom. Having completed RACE and working for trainers such as Ted Walsh he has a lot of experience and is an important part of the team.
I’ve been riding horses all my life. After my leaving certificate in 2018 I started race riding for Trainer Willie McCreery and then moved to Declan Carroll in the UK. I joined the team in October 2020 and have ridden 15 winners including 3 for the team since I started on board with Eglish and War Hero twice.
Adam joined us in 2020 as a work rider and has since obtained his jockey’s licence, claiming 10lbs and looking forward to opportunities to ride winners in 2021.
